The 7-week study was performed in a laboratory classroom setting. During the first 6 weeks, the optimal dose of QuilliChew ER for each patient was identified by adjusting the dose based on the patient's clinical response and tolerance to side effects. Then, patients received their optimal dose for 1 week. At the end of the seventh week, teachers used a rating scale (SKAMP) to evaluate the effect of QuilliChew ER on attention and behavior in children with ADHD ages 6 to 12 when compared to children taking a sugar pill.*

Children taking QuilliChew ER showed improved attention and behavior from 45 minutes to 8 hours after taking when compared with those children who took sugar pills.*
